Motion Lead
After the success of my work with the HP brand, I was invited to take on a new challenge of helping elevate the world of HP OMEN. This gave me and my team the opportunity to build on the surreal, eye-catching environments we created for Trolli, only this time, we leveled things up by combining AI tools to speed up the creative workflow with real-time 3D modeling and scene creation using VR into our pipeline.
Showcase the power of the HP OMEN Transcend 14 laptop and the versatility of makers it caters to, while highlighting key features in a non traditional way, speaking with an authentic voice that would resinate with the user base.
Create a new world with multiple environments that speak to each vertical. To achieve the look and polish we wanted, it was clear this project needed to be handled "soup to nuts" in-house. I worked closely with the entire W+K Motion department, multiple design teams within W+K Studio and our collaborators at Joint Editorial we were able to create a magical world with the OMEN diamond as the portal connecting the environemnts and the brand identity.
To highlight the OMEN Transcend 14’s versatility, I worked closely with the team to create four distinct environments, each designed to reflect a different creative medium: A GAMING WORLD targeting gamers, a MUSIC WORLD targeting audio creators, an ART WORLD targeting designers, animators and content creators, plus a PORTABILITY WORLD to highlight the lightweight design and long lasting battery life. Each world has a unique visual style and personality, reinforcing how the laptop empowers creators to push their boundaries, no matter the discipline.
Everything was created from the ground up. From character development to environment design, down to crafting the audio score, it was a fully collaborative in-house creative execution that showcased the product in a brand new light.
